Some interns learn about branding from the outside. I got to watch it happen from inside the agency itself.
During my time at what is now JDPR Strategic Brand Elevation—a full-scale marketing and communications agency—I was part of the team during the agency's own rebrand, evolving from a PR-focused firm into a broader brand strategy and communications practice. Being embedded in that process gave me a front-row seat to what a brand evolution actually demands: clarity of positioning, consistency of voice, and alignment across every client touchpoint.
Across five client accounts, including Verizon Wireless, I contributed to brand awareness campaigns, drafted strategic communications and press materials, managed media outreach, and supported campaign performance reporting—always with brand consistency as the throughline. The work reinforced something I now bring to every project: brand awareness isn't built in one campaign. It's built into every single message, across every single channel.
